We've all had a good cry, now it's time to get down to business. Here are some details about our plans.
Recording is in active progress. We've been into the studio several times this year, with more dates on the books. Our process comes in three stages:
1) record drums and bass together as a live take
2) record guitars and vocals
3) mix/master
There are currently six songs past stage 1, two or three of which are in the middle of stage 2 (don't get too excited yet, but I'm pushing for a single release soon). The current setup with Marcus at Bleeding Roses is so sweet and is designed to reduce the load on stage 3.
A lot of our rehearsal time is spent writing new stuff, not to mention all the music playing in my head at every moment of every day (anyone else experience intrusive audiation?). Point is, we are well on our way to present another full album by the end of summer. No guarantees on when you'll hear it. Follow the Newsletter below for first access.
We want to bring you into our process; behind-the-scenes content is a big goal I have this summer. Photographers and editors are being recruited. The blog is active! (duh?)
New merch is on the way. I have a new t-shirt designed and in production (shoutout Swag NW). I also have some ideas I'm toying with for new merch items. How do we feel about sunglasses? The print area is so damn small, but I would love to rock some TOI shades.
